Privacy
Scanfinder is designed to work without your name, Medicare number, referral text, exact address or device location. Search and scan filters use the locality and optional modalities you select.
We use Google Analytics and PostHog to measure page use, searches, clinic actions, performance and errors. The town, postcode and scan words entered in Scanfinder's search controls may be recorded so we can understand demand and failed searches. PostHog may also record the public interface as a masked session replay and heatmap. Other input values are masked, URL query strings are removed, advertising personalisation is disabled and browser Do Not Track is respected.
If a clinic has no provider-published accessibility information, you may choose to check Google Maps. Scanfinder sends one pre-matched public clinic or hospital Place ID to Google from our server. It does not send your search or location, and Scanfinder does not cache the result. Google's privacy policy applies to that lookup.
If you email a correction, we use the message only to investigate and reply. Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected].
